Ruche Moodley, third place in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Le Mans

Watch him go!

Catch up with new superstar Ruché Moodley – while you still can.

The latest star on the motorsport horizon is Port Elizabeth-born Ruché Moodley, whose future success seems assured after he took third place in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Le Mans in June.

This is Ruché’s first podium position, although he’s been racing for nine years. His skill in the sport comes as no surprise given that he comes from motorsport royalty: his father is South African National Superbike and UAE Superbike Champion, Arushen Moodley. It was Arushen who first introduced him to the sport, buying him a PW50.

Looking up to the likes of Brad and Darryn Binder, Marc Marquez (and his dad), Ruché has big plans for his racing future. He currently spends nine months overseas training with the sport’s upcoming heroes, gaining more exposure and experience. We’re certain to see him on the podium more frequently in months to come.
