Hands up if you’ve said, “I can’t believe it’s almost February.” We can’t either. Already, 2024 has shown itself to be a year full of excitement as we embrace the new. Take the appointment of our first co-CEO team, for example.
We’ve marked the introduction of a new spirit in other ways, too: the first of our series inviting you to ‘Meet your Regional Committee members’ stands out as a case in point here.
But, while we’re full of the enthusiasm and vigour that a new year brings, this time is also touched with sadness as we contemplate the passing of our beloved former colleague, Prinola Govender. Her untimely death is yet another reminder of how quickly our years pass – and how we should never miss out on an opportunity to make those years count, whether it’s by setting ourselves a new challenge or goal, or simply spending our time with the people we love best.
I hope that you find the courage to do just this in the coming months.
