The Sick, Accident and Maternity Fund Disclaimer
This calculator is intended to provide an estimate of the minimum projected savings based on the specific business structure inputted. The wages and salaries are computed according to the MIBCO wage and salaries tables that are applicable at the time of use. SAF contributions are also computed based on the current applicable schedule.
The cost of sick leave is determined as a percentage of the 10 days per year out of the 3-year, 30-day cycle allocation. However, the calculator does not factor in additional benefits such as the “Death Benefit” or the “Accident and Maternity” benefits, which can accrue unpredictably.
Although great care has been taken to provide accurate information, the RMI cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies in savings/losses between this projection calculator and an actual process.
