After two years of online and virtual meetings, RMI decided to launch a series of roadshows this year – a much appreciated (and warmly welcomed) development that was inspired by feedback from members who relish the opportunity to discuss new developments, share experiences, express needs and explore industry-specific issues in person.
MIWA grabbed the chance to meet up with members while supporting RMI and attended the various meetings. Marcia, Operational Co-Ordinator, and I were especially eager to visit our members at their workshops.
The roadshow also gave us a platform to share more information about our HaynesPro promotion and to discuss projects like our new branding initiative, giving insight from both a MIWA and RMI perspective. Of course, we also used the events to network and strengthen our relationships.
The roadshows have proved to us that, as much as digital meetings certainly have a role to play in the current business environment, nothing matches human interaction.
