This month we are introducing a new section to highlight some of the activities happening in your region. WESTERN CAPE:
Don’t forget the Western Cape Motor Mech taking place at HTS Drosdty in Worcester on 9 March. The event promises displays from MIWA workshops and dealerships, local clubs, and industry suppliers. The highlight, as always, is the Junior Motor Mech competition. Entry is R20 for adults, and kids under 12 are free if accompanied by an adult. Interest in the show has been really positive so it is sure to be a great success and we look forward to welcoming our sister Association reps from TEPA as well as some of our head office executives to the show.
Our focus on empowering women drivers continues, with a special Women’s Workshop planned as part of the activities taking place at Motor Mech on 9 March at HTS Drostdy between 11:00 and 14:00. Attendees can look forward to gaining crucial skills such as how to change a tyre, basic vehicle maintenance, defensive driving, and hijacking awareness, while also learning about careers in the industry.
GAUTENG:
